The Bearden Foundation works closely with the Bearden PTSO (Parent Teacher Student Organization). The President of the PTSO also serves as a member of the Foundation’s Board of Directors. 

 

The PTSO helps to organize volunteers for many of the school’s activities as well as offering financial assistance to support teachers and faculty throughout the year including:

Open House (Fall and Winter)

Teacher Appreciation Snacks and Lunches

Wednesday Weekly newsletter

Library volunteers

West Mall volunteers

School Store

College Night

Mini-Grants

Student of the Week

Bearden’s Best

Prom

Senior Events including Baccalaureate, Luncheon, and Grad Night

The PTSO is a membership organization and the money raised stays at Bearden and goes to help fund the above programs.
