Myers accepts new position with Knox County schools

Moving on: Former Principal Myers to now help lead student development strategies.

I cannot express how grateful I am to have served this wonderful community as principal of Bearden High School. I will always be appreciative of the support I received from the Bearden community and the Bearden High School Foundation and look forward to the great work that will continue in the coming school year. Serving the students and staff at BHS has truly been the greatest experience of my career, and I will miss them dearly.

While I will be leaving the principalship at BHS, I will always be a Bulldog. My daughter Kenslie will be a sophomore at BHS this year and my other daughters, Jaycie and Baylie, will be attending in the coming years.

My new role as Executive Director of Student Supports will allow me to not only serve the students of Bearden High School, but also ensure that adequate supports are in place for students across all of the Knox County Schools. I want to sincerely thank you for your support and welcoming me into the Bearden community. Go Bulldogs!
